The written word defines me. I am a lifelong reader, journalist, researcher, reporter and creative writer. From my earliest years, I have read in trees, under the covers, in the car and whenever I have a spare moment. I have always kept a journal, and all of my paid work has involved writing and editing.

I love to research, interview and learn about new things – processes, people, events and ideas. I perform content specific research for clients, interview people, create new content and edit copy, write and manage the production process for a variety of communication vehicles, including full website redesign projects; email, blog, marketing and fund-raising campaigns; grant proposals and reporting; news, profile and feature news stories; and fiction.

I take much pride in clarity, accuracy, focus, meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations. Helping others turn their great ideas and dreams into a compelling communication message that compels support inspires me.
